WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT

Hours:

Monday to Friday 7.00am to 4.30pm

Main purpose of job:

Serving customers to provide the highest level of customer service, efficiently, politely and profitably

Supporting all other staff

Main requirements of job:

• Counterbalance forklift licence desirable – training available
• Customer service skills essential
• Organisation and communication skills
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team

Main tasks of the job:

• Loading and unloading suppliers and customers vehicles
• Order picking for delivery
• Assisting customers to their vehicles with their purchases as required
• Carry out daily plant checks and report defects
• Moving stock both manually and by the safe operation of mechanical offloading equipment
• Checking goods inwards deliveries against orders placed and supplier delivery notes
